Saturday Soccer

Flipping the hair Coming in Saturday morning was pretty cold for spring.  It had a bitterness to the air.  If you were in the sun, it was manageable.  If you were in the shade, BURR.  Chelsea is playing soccer. This Saturday game started at 8:30 in the morning - so pretty early.  It's her first time ever playing a sport - she has done dance for the last year and a half, but, this is the first sport.  She just absolutely loves it.  She is funny.  She's on a team with her friend Stevie.  Anyway, it was a pretty fun day. Getting the line ready - Only girl on the team - But, that little girl is yawning!

Field Trip with Princess Poop

Playing in the sand Lookie - I'm an owl I usually have Chelsea on Friday mornings while her awesome mom goes to Zach's school to co-op.  She teaches the kids math every Friday.  Today, Chelsea's pre-school set up to go to Tracy Aviary on a field trip.  I haven't been on a field trip for many, many years.  The last time I went to Tracy Aviary, Crystal was still in a stroller.  After the Aviary we had lunch at the picnic tables.  It was a good time.  I love spending time with Chelsea - she is a very animated and talkative fart.  She loves to chat!!  They had guides to take them around and the guides would ask questions of the kids - Chelsea was always the first, always the loudest and always correct in her answers. Too adorable!! I know my girl really wanted to go on the field trip with her princess - - but, I was really glad I got the opportunity to play chaperone on this fun day.

Being Grandma CoCo

I love being a grandma.  I love each and every one of my kiddos with all my heart.  Every time I see them, my heart melts.  Every time I talk to them, my heart melts.  Every time I hear something fun or cute they have said or done, my  heart melts.  There is nothing more special than seeing these little humans that your children have made.  It is almost more gratifying than watching your own kids grow and flourish, because in a way, I helped create them. I have five grandbabies.  Granted, I didn't help in the creation of three of them - but, I love them just the same.  I absolutely love each and every one of them.  I get to spend more time with my Zacharoo and my Princess Poop more than the other three, but, I adore any time I get to see or hear from them all. Aedynn Let's start with Aedynn.  What am amazingly smart kid.  He is definitely all boy.  He and Zachary both remind me of each other, because they are boys.  They are loud, they are crazy and they love to let you

Us Versus Them

I was reading on Facebook today and there was this post by someone I work with about how horrible the working conditions are.  I agree, things have been horrible, I have stated it myself.  We are going through a lot of change - upheaval - and there is no end in sight.  We didn't ask for it - we didn't want to do it - but, guess what, things change and things happen and we have no control over it.  We have made our opinions known and whether or not they were taken into consideration, I don't know - all I know is, decisions were made and I have no choice but to do what my employer wants me to do. If I don't, I am guessing they won't want me working there anymore and would fire me - it's that simple - it's what happens in the real world.  We go to our place of employment to work for a "company".  The "company" has rules.  The "company" has policies.  The "company" has standard operating procedures.  I have no choice but t
