Let's Talk About Vegas.... this is a loooong one!!

I know, the saying is, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But, really, where is the fun in that? And, if it was really something that I didn't want you to know - I wouldn't tell you. So, we'll talk about it anyway. I went with an awesome friend, my Princess Sara. Luckily, her little mini-me came along and spent some time with us, too.... Princess Kellie. Princess Kellie spent the first couple of days with her grandparents in Henderson (they are not nearly as fun as I am!!). So first off, let's talk about the hotel. We stayed at the Hooter's Hotel. It was quite the fun little hotel. The casino is really, really small. AND, their food sucks the big one. Their drinks at the pool weren't too great, either. However, I'm not complaining mind you, because I was drinking a daquiri and a rum punch by the pool while at home people were freezing to death in temperatures somewhere in the thirties. So, I'm not complaining. I will take my crappy food f

Whose Crazy Idea Was This?

I have talked about trying to get my life on track and live a more healthy existence for my remaining time here on earth. I want to feel healthy and good. I no longer want to feel like a lazy, disgusting sloth. I am not having crazy weight loss on Weight Watchers. I tend to lose a couple of pounds and gain back a pound. You know, two steps forward and one step backwards. But, I have been trying to limit my intake and trying to watch what I eat. I indulge when I want to - but not like I used to. Just trying to eat right. I have also taken up doing exercise classes as often as I can. I have done a few Zumba classes, a muscle buster class and water aerobics has been a favorite. I really enjoy water aerobics. Ted and KayeLynn have been going with me and it's been a lot of fun. Watching Ted is especially great. He is all over the water. Eventually, he has this large space around him, because everyone has decided to give it to him - or else he will get in their space. It&#

Decisions, Decisions!!

One of the things that happens as you watch your children grow, age and move on is that they are often faced with decisions. Not all of them are life altering, not all of them are life and death, not all of them are even important (to some people). None the less, they are important to them and by that fact, they become important to you. They face these decisions all their lives; should I do this, should I do that. They never go away - and the hard part as a parent, is to let them make the decision. Whether you find it right or wrong, they have to choose the course their lives will take. Usually they make the right decisions. Sometimes they make the wrong decision. But, it is their decision to make. Each of my kids have faced important decisions in the last few months. All of them change the course of where they are going and what they are going to do. Crystal: Now, this may not look like a big deal to most people. But, she had to decide to take Chelsea out of preschool. It
